Summer Homework

June 19, 2008

For reading: Choose an author and read several of his/her books. This can be a new series that you want to read, re-reading old favorites or a combination of the two. In the fall you will be doing a book project on an author and will need to be able to talk about his/her style and themes. The books by the author do not have to be part of a series. For some authors each book is about all new characters. For writing: Prepare for an editing test the first week back to school by studying the list of words sent home in your report card. A copy will also be linked to the August calendar. Have a great summer! See you August 27 for Middle School Back-to-School Night.
